BRUSH ILLUSTRATION & MARK MAKING WORKSHOP with Designer/illustrator Gemma Hampton.

'Free up' your drawing conceptions and discover a technique for creating beautiful illustrations and studies from still life compositions in everyday life. You will explore techniques for mark making and learn how to use a brush pen before studying some still lives and found objects in the studio to draw.

Drawing can be linked to well-being, as a meditative process and focusing on the here and now through observation. Gemma will encourage attendees to continue their practice in their sketch books.

The Venue
The workshop takes place in the studio at Nineteen with 3- 6 others. Enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere, learn a skill to continue developing at home, as well as engaging in a sociable and inspiring time with creatives to refresh and refuel your craft activities. Suitable for beginners or those looking to learn additional skills from Gemma alike.

The workshop
With Gemma's guidance, you will all leave with your own completed illustration, brush pen and small sketchbook to continue your new practice.  The workshop includes all materials. Refreshments are included plus a slice of homemade cake is served in the break by Nineteen.
