PAPER CUTTING WORKSHOP with Designer/ illustrator Jessica Baldry
Discover a technique for creating beautiful illustrations from still life. compositions in everyday life without drawing. You will explore cutting techniques and construction of an illustration. 

Paper cutting is a meditative creative action that allows a single point of focus, where all other things going on can melt away.
The theory of flow, where people are happiest when they are in a state of flow—a state of concentration or complete absorption with the activity at hand and the situation. It is a state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter. 

The Venue
The workshop takes place in the studio at Nineteen with 3- 6 others. Enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere, learn a skill to continue developing at home, as well as engaging in a sociable and inspiring time with creatives to refresh and refuel your craft activities. Suitable for beginners or those looking to learn additional skills from Jessica or are returning to this craft.

The workshop
Teaches the basics of paper cutting, with an array of hand chosen templates to test your skills and allow these skills develop in a supportive, calm and creative environment. You can be content to feel supported with a teacher that understands the balance between guidance and personal creative space. The workshop includes all materials. Refreshments are included plus a slice of homemade cake, served in a short break by Nineteen.
